Linear Motion Business Developer
Job profile
We are looking for a Business Developer with technical knowledge and sales experience in the Linear Motion systems. The position will require both maintaining and improving relationships with long time customers as well as developing new business.
Your role as Business Developer Linear Motion, will require you:
- To develop business and ensure portfolio management (linear guides, linear bearing, ball screws, electric actuators).
- To perform sales related duties and develop projects with new customers by using the best technology available.
- To provide product knowledge to customers, handle inquiries and conduct product presentation to prospective customers.
- To carry out the sales functions in order to ensure that a consistent flow of orders are offered to the business that meets the targets set
- To be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Main responsibilities:
- You will build relationships with existing customers and develop business with potential new customers.
- You will be expected to develop your sales plan with the sales management for the products, solutions and services promoted by the company and reporting back using the company CRM system.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Linear Motion products and solutions or Mechanical Transmissions.
The candidate profile:
- Proven track record of successfully developing business in the Linear Motion or Mechanical Transmissions and especially in automation industries. Typical industry experience could include automotive production and engineering, logistics and warehouse systems as well as robotic applications and automated machinery.
- Specific technical qualifications are not critical, but a “can do” attitude is. This combined with a clear record of achievement will allow you to demonstrate success
- Willingness and the ability to do what it takes to get the job done including extensive travelling and above the average dedication to the job is important
- Problem solving skills: identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
